VIP sits in an area of high levels of unemployment, poverty, gang culture and territorialism and although activities are offered in neighbouring areas, young people tend not to cross the invisible territorial line.
Our focus challenges and alleviates these circumstances by engaging with children, young people, families, and partner organisations to deliver and develop projects to meet everyone’s individual needs.
Our team helps reduce the stigma associated with all the above by allowing everyone the chance access to new skills and activities, creating new life opportunities.
Exposing children, young people and their families to new skills and activities allows them to push beyond their comfort zones which increases self-esteem and confidence. Everyone gets the chance to set goals in areas previously not experienced or considered
At VIP there are are a wide variety of programs for the whole community from Pram to Primary right through to High School and Adults including:
- Baby and Toddler Groups

- Our Space Youth Project
- Dance (all ages & abilities)
- Therapeutic Gardening
- Musical Theatre
- Boxing
